Payment and Cancellation

Please read our transparent payment and cancellation policies. When something does not go as planned, just let us know and we are committed to make it right.


  1. Always Predisclosed and Standard Pricing

    With 4×4 we take the hassle out of fluctuating prices, awkward negotiations, inaccurate estimations, and tipping. For every job category, whether it is software engineer, legal, laundry, drivers or tutors, the pro’s fair price is disclosed in advance and it will not change for your booking. Our pros compete for your work on our open system by offering their best prices. Frequently Service Professionals will offer discounts on their work. Those discounts will be published to their profile.

  2. Secure Platform for Private Information

    We store all your information such as  name, billing address, order history in an secure database that we do not share with third parties except for completion of the job you have booked. Your activity is safe and private using industry security techniques and will always be the case.

  3. Payment Methods

    We accept ALL major credit cards through a secure payment provider. At the time of booking, we authorize your card. When the service is completed Near.Biz collects the payment automatically. We do not store your credit card information in our system.

  4. Fair User Cancellation Policy

    We understand that changes may happen and emergencies come unexpected, thus the need to cancel a reservation.

    For cancellations made 24 hours after the job was booked, it will be refunded 100%. This is provided that the Pro is not yet on the way. Mistakes happen, we understand.

    For cancellations made 24 hours after the job was booked but given that the Pro has already left to complete the job, the user will be charged a rate equivalent of 2 hours of the job. Once the Pro is on the way to complete the job, the automatic charge is rate equivalent of 2 hours of the job.

    For cancellations made 24 hours after the job was booked, the user will be charged a rate equivalent to 1 hour of the job. This is provided that the Pro is not yet on the way.

    After the job has started, a 2 hour minimum will apply. Please see How it Works for more information.

  5. Pro No Show and Late Policy

    Our Pros are trained to be responsive, professional, and fair. The user may cancel an order at no fee is the Pro does not respond in 4 hours from order booking. In case an unforeseeable event causes the Pro to not comply by the 4×4 workflow you have no obligation to accept the job and if you are unable to accept the job due to this reason, we are sorry, and will make this right by finding another professional for you or applying a credit to your account! Final dispute settlement is left at the Team at Near.biz.
